My vision of Los Angeles is informed by daily trips taken along the city's streets, avenues, drives and boulevards while growing up there in the 80s’ and 90’s. Today, I return to photograph the arteries through which the life of the city pulsates. The photographs depict the physical streets—their surfaces, graffiti, flora, architecture, and citizens—which embody the intersection of public and private space in Los Angeles.
